Turbelle® nanostream®
For us design is much more than only styling of existing products: It is the expression of an idea and a concept; it opens one’s eyes. Turbelle® nanostream® combines aesthetics and function; it creates new ideas. This innovative circulation pump sets up a new record: At a diameter of only 70 mm (2.7 in.) it enables a water flow of 4,500 l/h (1,189 USgal./h) at an energy consumption of only 7 W. The pump contains a very large prime strainer for the water drawn in which prevents premature soiling. The spherical shape permits an ingenious 3D setting of the direction of flow. As a standard feature, Turbelle® nanostream® is supplied with a magnetic holder, which enables uncomplicated attachment at any position on the aquarium pane.

Turbelle® nanostream® electronic
Turbelle® nanostream® 6055 is an electronic speed controlled pump operating on safety extra-low voltage. It is ideal for use in every aquarium with a volume of 40 to 500 litres (10.5 to 132 USgal.) permitting washing of waves or simulating tidal currents. It contains a new microprocessor-controlled motor and thus can be called an “intelligent pump”:
The electronic motor adapts its speed automatically to the pump load and always seeks the best efficiency at the lowest possible consumption of energy. This energy consumption is about 30 per cent lower than in conventional pump motors.
The pump will be stopped immediately in case of blockage. After the blockage has been removed, the pump will start up automatically after a delay of 20 seconds.
The pump driver has been provided with a fish care function, which causes a revolution of the screw every twenty seconds when the pump is at a standstill.
All pumps with an electronic motor can be controlled by Multicontroller 7094 and 7095 as well as by Singlecontroller 7091.

Other power supply units for Turbelle® nanostream® 6055 - safety connector
Turbelle® electronic 6055 has been fitted with an electronic motor. The pump can be operated on any direct-current source (battery, solar cells) from 10 V to 24 V. For a safe connection to the pump, we recommend the Turbelle® Safety Connector 6105.50, which contains a 4 amps fuse. The safety connector permits normal operation with the TUNZE® power supply unit, but in case of a power failure it will automatically switch over to a car battery or a direct-current source. |
